Snooze is one of those restaurants you hear about every time you ask someone from Colorado what their favorite breakfast place is.
Over and over I heard, “You gotta try Snooze!” “Have you gone to Snooze?” “Snooze is everything.”
Unfortunately, the first time I went I was not prepared for how deep the love of Snooze was. The wait on a Saturday morning was over two hours and I was at the level of hangry where all of my friendships would have been destroyed.
Thankfully, a few months later, I had the chance to go at an off hour.
The restaurant was pretty empty due to it being a weekday so we got a chance to talk to the waitress about Snooze and the food options.
I (unfortunately) only can have gluten free options, and was beyond happy to learn about how many options Snooze offers.
After looking everything over, I decided to go with a “Benny” (I believe it was called an Early Harvest Benny, and Benny is their slang for an eggs benedict) and a GF Strawberry Fields pancake.

The Benny was incredible. The hash browns were perfectly cooked, the sauce was impeccable, and the veggies were fresh.
The gluten free pancake was the real treat. Rarely do restaurants make a quality pancake that’s fluffy, light, and gluten free. I now crave this pancake every single time I try to make them myself.
I now fully understand why Snooze lives up to the hype.
